Philip J. Smith, Ph.D.
Dr. Philip J. Smith is Vice President of Assessment Services of Drake  Inglesi Milardo. He brings with him 20 years of experience in the assessment field.
Phil focuses his attention on executive selection in the corporate setting as well as the assessment of law enforcement personnel. In addition, Phil concentrates on the firm’s ongoing monitoring of recent developments and innovations in the areas of personnel selection and management development.
He works with a variety of clients including Hannaford Bros Co., Portland Newspapers, West Marine, and Staples, to name a few.
Phil is also very involved in providing outplacement and career transition assistance to a large group of clients including Irving Oil, SAPPI Fine Papers and L.L. Bean.
Phil holds a B.A. in Psychology from Fairfield University, an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Hartford and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University Of Maine. Phil has been a licensed psychologist in the State of Maine for over 20 years.
