Sara will set a convient time for you to talk with a Core Themes Counselor. The primary purpose of this initial interview is to determine if you are a candidate for the Core Themes program*. The interview generally lasts about two hours. It is best conducted in person, although exceptions can be made to do the interview via telephone.
During the course of the interview, the consultant will attempt to understand your reasons for exploring the Core Themes process and discuss broadly your personal and professional history.
If you and the consultant agree that the program is the appropriate service for you, the consultant will explain, in detail, the Core Themes process, approximate time commitment, costs, etc. You will be given a written copy of this information before you leave the interview.
We recommend that you do not sign up for the Core Themes process immediately, but take a few days to think about whether it is exactly what you want. It is important that you discuss the program with your family and trusted friends to get their advice.
*It is our experience that some individuals do not need the Core Themes program. Usually, these individuals respond to specific advice or simply need to make certain changes in their career or work situation.
