What it Means:
It means the ability to impact the lives of others in a positive manner. It could be as simple as teaching someone a new skill or teaching them something they previously didn’t know. It could be teaching something that has multiple steps in complexity. It would help others learn about their own skills and needs.
Why This is Important to Me:
It’s important to me because it would give me a sense of achievement by helping others meet their needs or desires. It also appeals to my need to educate others. People are often limited by their thought processes or interpretations of their own skills.
Career Guidance Implications:
My career should be about educating others on some level. Ultimately I feel it should be about teaching and developing others.
How Would I Feel if This Were Missing?
I would feel as if I still had something left undone. I’ve found the best lessons were the ones where I not only learned about others but myself as well.
